Considered to be one of the rarest Dunks of all time, the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low is suggested to make a return this year but with a twist, according to sources. The style was first introduced back in 2003 with only three pairs to hit production – one sold at auction for $26,000, followed by the second pair sliced into pieces, and the last gifted to the late Sandy Bodecker in 2008 who was instrumental in the sportswear giant’s SB and football divisions as a retirement gift.

As suggested, the color scheme derives from eBay’s signature colors and according to sources, the 2022 pair will reflect the featured image below, however, it will incorporate “clear” stripes across the sole and side panels to symbolize the areas where the original eBay x Nike Dunk Low sample was sliced. Additionally, reports suggest the heel panels will incorporate the traditional SB branding instead of the exclusive eBay logo.

Reports suggest the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low will be offered later this year, perhaps by auction to benefit The Bodecker Foundation. Always keep it locked to KicksOnFire for the latest in sneaker news, release dates and where to purchase your favorite kicks.

Elsewhere, the Nike Air Max 1 Crepe Hemp 2022 is set to debut this week.

UPDATE (9/12): Our latest look at the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low 2022 focuses on the insoles which house an image of Sandy Bodecker and his son. Images via dr_dunks23. Current reports have these limited to only 1,500 pairs that will be releasing exclusively via eBay auction.

UPDATE (7/5/): Woganwodeyang gives us a good look at the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low 2022 sample. As previously reported, the sneaker is highlighted by the “clear” stripes across the sole and side panels to symbolize the areas where the original eBay x Nike Dunk Low sample was sliced.
