The Nike Air Max Scorpion was first unveiled way back in December of 2021. Ever since then, we’ve only caught a glimpse of the new Air Max model here and there. Still slated to debut later on this year, here is our first on-feet look at the Nike Air Max Scorpion.

The Nike Air Max Scorpion draws similarities to the Nike Air VaporMax thanks to its larger than life Air Max unit. Done in a Phantom/Black-Light Cream-Lemon Wash color scheme, the Air Max Scorpion is highlighted by its Flyknit upper decorated with a stitched Swoosh on the heel and toe. When it comes to the sole of the sneaker, you will find a full-length thick Air Max sole unit which Nike describes it as using enhanced Air that offers “tomorrow’s comfort today.”

UPDATE (9/24): Nike has officially announced that the Nike Air Max Scorpion “Lemon Wash” will be releasing via SNKRS on October 5th for a price tag of $250. Check out official images below.

Built around the concept of “point-loading” (translation: great responsiveness, better sensation and improved cushioning), the Air Max Scorpion opens a new chapter in the book of footwear magic. Consult the crystal ball again, and you’ll see a disruptive design that pairs super-soft chenille fabric with incredibly lightweight Flyknit. Meanwhile, dashes of Lemon Wash pulse against a neutral upper for a fashion-meets-sport aesthetic—the perfect finish for your spellbinding look.
