The Nike Air Huarache Doernbecher is officially revealed and it’s one of the six standout silhouettes from the Swoosh’s exclusive Doernbecher Freestyle 2023 (XVIII) Collection. Designed by 13-year-old Dario Villaseñor Valdivia, the sneaker is officially draped in a combination of “Kumquat/Cinnamon-Starfish-Rough Green.” Overall, Dario’s Air Huarache pays homage to some of his favorite things: oranges, his long-haired plush toy and creating stick animation for his YouTube channel. Additionally, Dario was diagnosed with leukemia and received a bone marrow transplant seven years ago, however, his body attacked the donor cells, leaving his lungs severely damaged. But throughout it all, Dario Villaseñor Valdivia has remained Siempre Fuerte (Always Strong).
