Dropping in December, here is an official look at the Nicole McLaughlin x Reebok Club C Geo Mid. For those that may not know Nicole McLaughlin is a former Reebok designer. McLaughlin turned a love of upcycling from a hobby to a career in 2018 following her start at Reebok in 2015. Since then, she has transformed a vast range of discarded and thrifted items – from volleyballs to gummy candy – into functional footwear, apparel, and accessories, including slippers, shorts, and bralettes.

The Nicole McLaughlin x Reebok Club C Geo Mid draws inspiration from a Reebok model from the ‘90s which Nicole upgraded with modern materials that reflect her passion for both upcycling and the great outdoors. The sneaker is highlighted by an added pocket around the medial, lateral, and heel for storage, referencing similar styles of pockets found on hiking backpacks. The detail pays homage to McLaughlin’s desire to create ultra functional pieces. The tongue also includes a lace garage to tuck the shoelaces into to keep them out of the way.

Limited pairs of the Nicole McLaughlin x Reebok Club C Geo Mid will be releasing exclusively on StockX via DropX on December 5th for $160, with proceeds from the sales benefitting the non-profit Sky High Farms. A wider release will take place on December 9th at select retailers and Reebok.com.

In release news, the Air Jordan 12 Black Taxi is set to release on December 3rd. Will you be trying to get a pair of these?
