Fans of the OG Nike Air Flight Huarache will be happy to hear that a retro release is rumored for 2023.
The Nike Air Flight Huarache OG made its debut way back in 1992. It was put on the spotlight when they were worn by the Michigan Wolverines’ “Fab Five”. Nike also dropped a retro in 2014. Now, according to Complex, the OG colorway of the Nike Air Flight Huarache will be making another return during the Spring of 2023.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield and Eric Avar, this OG colorway of the Nike Air Flight Huarache will come dressed in a White, Varsity Purple, Royal Blue, and Menta color scheme. Design details include a White leather upper offset by the Purple and Blue neoprene inner bootie and open ankle. A Black molded heel cage, White laces and White midsole round out the main features of the sneaker. Below you can see images of the 2014 version, expect the 2023 pair to look the same.
