HOKA has always been at the top of the list when it comes with running sneakers. Now, slowly but surely, it’s garnering the attention of a wider audience who may not necessarily be into running sneakers like that. That said, HOKA still pumps out some of the best running sneakers in the game, and today we give you an official look at their latest road racing shoe, the HOKA Rocket X2.
A sequel to the HOKA Rocket that made its debut a few years back, the HOKA Rocket X2 is said to be their “most pinnacle performance road racing shoe to date.” The sneaker was designed with feedback from the brand’s extensive roster of elite road runners and triathletes. It further evolves upon the engineering of its predecessor as it comes equipped with a ProFlyX midsole construction that stacks a soft layer of foam over top a responsive bottom. Additionally, the sneaker also features a spoon-shaped, offset carbon fiber plate alongside early stage MetaRocker technology. When it comes to the upper, it has also been updated as it now utilizes a lightweight, breathable synthetic mesh that’s reinforced with dual-sided tongue gussets and an internal midfoot cage.
Retailing for $250, the HOKA Rocket X2 is now available via HOKA.com
