Arriving in a few days, here is a detailed look at the Bodega x Vault by Vans Chukka Mid-Top Modern collaboration.
This new “Mid-Top Modern” collaboration between Vans and the Boston-based sneaker boutique will include two special iterations of the Chukka silhouette that pay homage to when Vans came on the footwear scene during the mid-century time period. Each colorway is a nod to military surplus uniforms, clothing, and accessories that went unused post-World War 2. The first pair comes dressed in a Khaki base, whereas the second pair is given a Pink upper. Both pairs feature Blue inner lining while canvas or suede is used on the majority of the uppers. Other details include the co-branding on the insoles, the branded lace tips and the different-colored rubber outsoles.
Retailing for $115, the Bodega x Vault by Vans Chukka Mid-Top Modern is set to release on April 14th at bdgastore.com at 12 PM ET and at both Boston and Los Angeles locations on a first come, first served basis.
