If Nike had a Mount Rushmore of sneakers, the Nike Cortez is definitely worthy of a spot, right? The Cortez was the very first track shoe that Nike released when it made its debut back in 1972. It has withstood the test of time and more than 50 years later the Cortez continues to release in clean new colorways. Next up, the Nike Cortez White University Blue.
Done in a White, University Blue, Sail, and Team Orange color scheme, this latest iteration of the Cortez is given a full leather upper with mesh tongues and lining. It starts off with a White base that is then contrasted by the University Blue accents on the Swooshes, heels, and insoles. Elsewhere you will find a Light Blue stripe along the Sail midsole along with retro-styled “Nike” tongue branding and additional Nike branding on the heels and insoles.
Retailing for $100, look for the Nike Cortez White University Blue to release in the coming months at select retailers and Nike.com. For a complete guide including official photos, release dates, pricing and where to buy, visit: Nike Cortez White University Blue.
In other news, the Air Jordan 4 Thunder is set to return soon. Will you be copping?
