This latest collaboration between Concepts and Asics gives the Gel Lyte 5 some American patriotism inspiration. The color scheme also pays tribute to the historic Boston Tea Party, an event that played a significant role in the American Revolution. Done in a good ol’ Red, White and Blue color scheme, the overall appearance of the sneaker pays homage to the American flag. Design details on the Concepts x Asics Gel-Lyte 5 Libertea include a construction that utilizes premium materials consisting of suede, mesh and nubuck. Standout features include the stripes on the lateral done in Gold while the stripes on the medial comes in Silver. Other details include a footbed displaying a unique wood-inspired graphic housing co-branding of both brands.
