Kith has teamed up with Asics and Marvel to drop the Kith x Marvel x Asics Gel Lyte 3 Collection that celebrates X-Men’s 60th anniversary.
Previewed below, the Kith x Marvel x Asics Gel Lyte 3 collection draws inspiration from the original X-Men characters. Each model is given its own unique color scheme and material construction that coincides with their respective character. The collection features seven different colorway of the Gel Lyt 3 that represent Beast, Cyclops, Gambit, Rogue, Storm, and Wolverine. What makes this collection/release unique is that each pair is packaged in collectible sealed boxes with blind-packaging. Which essentially means you won’t know what model you got until you open the packaging. Adding to the nostalgia of the release, Kith and Marvel have collaborated with Upper Deck to recreate the original 1992 Uncanny X-Men Series 1 Trading Cards. These cards, which are PSA-graded, will be randomly distributed across the shoes.
The Kith x Marvel x Asics Gel Lyte 3 Collection will be available from July 19th to July 23rd at San Diego Comic Con. On Friday, July 28th, they will be released at all Kith shops, EU.Kith.com at 11AM CET, and Kith.com & the Kith App at 11AM EST.
