Nike has just added another Nike Air Max 1 to their ever-growing Athletic Department collection. To recap, Nike’s nostalgic “Athletic Department” collection consists of a range of sneakers all paying homage to college sports.
This new iteration of the Nike Air Max 1 Athletic Department features a White mesh base paired up with Natural tones on the midfoot and heel overlays. Sharp contrast comes by way of the Deep Royal nubuck accents that take care of the Swooshes and mudguards. Adding more color to the design of the Teal hits spotted on the upper eyelets, tongue branding, heel, insoles, and toe area of the outsole. Lastly, an aged midsole atop a Black rubber outsole give the sneaker a bit of a vintage aesthetic.
