Jordan Brand is set to drop a brand new Air Jordan 1 Mid that pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s six championships with the Chicago Bulls. Dropping later on this year, let’s get a closer look.

Said to be a grade school exclusive of the model, this Air Jordan 1 Mid is given mismatched color blocking while also being constructed in a mix of mesh, corduroy, smooth leather, and tumbled leather. Design details include the use of corduroy on the Swooshes and ankle collar, a smooth leather use for the base, tumbles leather on the overlays and mesh on the tongues and lining. The sneaker’s most notable feature is without a doubt the tongue’s design that houses Jordan’s six championships with the Chicago Bulls. When it comes to the actual colors used on the sneakers, those happen to be the team colors of all the teams he beat in the NBA Finals. A White midsole and a colorful-camouflage rubber outsole complete the look.

This Air Jordan 1 Mid GS has no official release date yet, but current reports have these releasing in the coming months. Stay tuned.

In Jordan Brand news, is the Air Jordan 1 High OG Palomino the best Jordan Brand release of September?
