Kevin Durant is set to drop his 16th signature shoe with Nike Basketball. Already previewed in a handful of colorways, here is a first look at the Nike KD 16 in Black and Vivid Purple.
The Nike KD 16 shares some similarities with the Nike KD 14 as it opts for a low-cut build that features a textured multi-layer mesh on the forefoot and heel while a synthetic mudguard is shown wrapping around the entire model. Other details include the TPU caging system that features ventilation on both lateral and medials sides as well as blending onto the forefoot’s split midsole. We also spot 3M reflective piping, Zoom Air cushioning, KD branding on the tongue tabs, and a Swoosh on the lateral ankle. This pair comes dressed in a Black, Vivid Purple, Bright Crimson, and Metallic Silver color scheme where the majority of the uppwr comes in Black, while the Purple accents land on the sole and TPU caging system.
Retailing for $160, look for the Nike KD 16 Black Vivid Purple to release in the near future at select retailers and Nike SNKRS. For a complete guide including official photos, release dates, pricing and where to buy, visit: Nike KD 16 Black Vivid Purple.
