Earlier this year adidas introduced the Consortium Cup. This sneaker tournament includes 16 retailers creating their very own design on some of your favorite adidas silhouettes. When all was said and done UK retailers Offspring wad crowned the winner of the adidas Consortium Cup. As a result, Offspring has all four of its designs produced this year alongside all other successful retailer creations from the competition. Today we get a closer look at the Sneaker Politics x adidas Samba Consortium Cup.
The Sneaker Politics x adidas Samba Consortium Cup features a plethora of colors combined with a construction made up of an array of materials, textiles and patterns. The sneaker starts off with a Blue nylon base paired with a darker Navy Blue used for the suede panels and and matching laces. The design takes a bolder turn with the inclusion of the Red on the Three Stripes and heels and the use of leopard print on the lining. More color is added by way of the Emerald Green tongues. Moreover, the sneaker also features Gold “POLITICS” text found in the same space where’d you usually see “SAMBA” found, a Consortium Cup hang tag, the Sneaker Politics logo on the leopard insoles and even more Sneaker Politics branding on the right tongue tag.
